The Associations’s Annual Meeting convened on June 13, 2024, at the Warwick Country Club, and those at the meeting, some 70 in all, were treated to an introduction to the Warwick Neck Garden Club, a fascinating account by George Shuster about "Save The Bay and Warwick: 39 Miles of Connectivity", and remarks by Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi on current road, construction and traffic issues in the city.
Louise Moulton, president of the Garden Club, which was established in 1941, recounted the Club’s long role in beautifying Warwick Neck, and encouraged everyone to consider joining the Club to help continue its important work. George Shuster, the incoming president of Save The Bay, provided details about Warwick’s significant place in the evolving history of Narragansett Bay. He underscored the organization's deep involvement in preserving the Bay and its programs, among many, to connect students and teachers to the Bay. The meeting’s final speaker was Mayor Picozzi, who, in brief outline, described his administration’s ongoing engagements with T.F. Green airport officials and the governor’s office, and also the continuing challenging need to improve traffic safety.
